Comfy Guesthouse Westfjords

Comfy Guesthouse Westfjords is located in Súgandafjörður, a small fjord in the north of the westfjords, it offers 16 fresh rooms with quality bedding and linens and a complimentary breakfast is served between 8 and 10 in the morning.

Suðureyri in Súgandafjörður is a quiet fishing village with little under 300 residents.

The village is in a 20km range from Ísafjörður (the capital of the westfjords) and about 35km from Bolungarvík (the gateway to Hornstrandir nature reserve). An airport shuttle and a bus drive between Suðureyri and Ísafjörður, three times each day.

The Restaurant "Talisman" is just 100 meters away from the guest house and serves delicious seafood caught each day by the fishermen in the village.

Various activities are offered in the village, including food tasting, fishing and a guide who walks you through the village and tells stories about the history of the village, the houses and the people that make the village.

The guest house can accommodate up to 34 people and groups are welcome.
